Seeing in the Dark

“even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you.”

Psalm 139:12 (NIV).

From overflowing clicks and channel flips of worries,

To cautious swipes and taps across handheld screens,

Daily I pour out my concerns for the future.

How do I recover my smile, when it’s hidden behind my anxieties?

Then I hear a whisper…

“Let in the sun and watch as the rays fill every space in you,

Revealing new perspectives to dreams that developed in the shadows.

Stop looking for external ways to see through the darkness;

Use your light from within to reveal what was made in the dark.”
