A Deeper Purpose

A Deeper Purpose.jpg

“The purposes of a person’s heart are deep waters,

but one who has insight draws them out.”

Psalm 20:5(NIV).

I water deeply planted plots of possibilities with my actions,

Only to grow more discouraged as I survey my vacant surroundings.

I find myself holding my tongue from sharing new thoughts and ideas,

For fear of them taking root and adding more work to my plate.

How can I continue to work harder, when the fruits of my labor seem so far?

Then I hear a whisper…

“Relax and step away from your toils in the garden of productivity;

Refresh yourself with a drink from the wells of your purpose.

Disperse all fears, and free fall into the depths of your heart,

Use My understanding to draw up the motivation for you to persevere.”
