The Safest Place

Equipped with sarcastic wit and judgmental side-eyes,

I create shade to remain undetected from perceived pursuers.

How do I stop fighting in defense to avoid exposure?

Then I hear a whisper…

“Look again at these perceived dangers.

You’ve mistakenly viewed your insecurities as fear,

Instead of the vulnerabilities, I have uniquely gifted you.

Trust this purest space and see the potential I have created for you.

Now, come and relax in My shadow.”
